Last annual purchase...because I still have empty containers! :) This pink/white verbena is new to me...it's a trailing variety, too. So what goes good with this? Another one in solid pink, of course! (I wonder what Kim would say about this?;-)
Also new to me: variegated blooms on slavia! Nice twist on an old favorite...

....so I got some of both.
They had these stocks listed as perennial, so I got a 4-pack. I think stocks are usually listed as "half-hardy annual", but we'll see. I love the double blooms, and they smell great! Okay, that should finally be enough annuals for this year...I think...unless I fall victim to a sale of some sort! ;-)

Ha! Famous last words that I dare not utter. I find so many annuals it's not even funny.

Oh yea, I'm being completely delusional about the idea of resistence! Although once I get my re-arranging project underway with perennials, I bet the charm wears right off any "new tenants". :)

Resistence is futile, you will buy more plants:)

Hahaha! We gardeners certainly understand each other, eh? :)

Ha! "Fall victim to a sale of some sort"??? That perfectly describes what it always happening to me! :)

Karen that's awesome! Well you know what they say, "misery loves company". (Although in this case, I think it's more "comisery" or "partners in crime", or even a "gardening gene" that we all carry as fellow gardeners.) Yea, and it would shut off the reason and logic in the brain (not to mention self-discipline) every time a certain sale price or situation occurs with regard to anything to do with gardening. Or perhaps it's a virus that we catch from others somehow. Hey, maybe I can get a grant to study this! If I need test subjects I'll know who to call! ;-)

Do you really want to know what Kim would say to that?!!! *grin*

I do like the salvia, though! :)
