Hello, my name is Bentley, and I'm a shedder. ("Hi Bentley.") For a job like this, you need the right tool.... ....the wire shedding brush. There is a new brush out there called The FURminator , and while reading last Friday's Ark, I saw a ringing endorsement . But when I bought this brush, $4.50 sounded better than the $20 they want for the FURminator, but maybe I'll pick one up anyway to try it out. First Bentley's approval.....
.....great for on the chest and under the chin where he can't reach........and of course the belly.........okay, he's getting annoyed now.... .....wow! Look at all that! From a short-haired cat, too....
...and the best part? Push the button on the back and it self-cleans!
Cool! Now where's Gizmo? ("Who..... me?")

Submitted to Friday Ark.

What a content cat! My dog benefits greatly from the furminator. It has reduced shedding by over fifty percent! Gotta love it!

LOL!!! Love the look of ecstasy on Bentley's face...it's almost as good as the look of trepidation on Gizmo's face. heh

Layanee-Sold! I wanna try it now, because it seems no matter how often I brush these guys, the brush just keeps filling. I don't know if birds will use any cat hair in their nests, but I can compost it at least! :)

Vonne-LOL...I didn't realize just how happy Bentley was in that chest brushing picture until I saw it on a large monitor. Ecstasy is the word, alright. I think the brush pulls more on Giz because his hair is longer...he doesn't enjoy or tolerate it as long.

How cute! Let us know if you do get the furminator - I would love to know from a real live person if it really works!

Wow, a self cleaning brush? That would be awesome, I hate getting the hair out of the brush all the time!

Now, that is what I call "bliss face." I actually like swallowing my own fur so I have something to hack up. I’d like to tell you that I’ve written a scathingly funny book, The World Is Your Litter Box, which will be out in May. The book is cleverly disguised as a cute cat book so humans will buy it, but is, in fact, a how-to manual FOR cats. Check it out on my website, www.theworldisyourlitterbox.com.

Hmm now I will have to check that out! I used to have that same color carpet, and a gray long-haired cat. Oh, the fur! :)

Love your blog..just had to post, we have a huge white cat named Athenos that has the same black spots on his head, although not quite as dark. if you scroll back on my blog there are pics of him taking over the new diningroom table. this is the first time ive seen the same markings on another kitty like that.

Katie-Just based on Layanee's comment, I for sure want to get one, and I will absolutely report back. :)

Cinj-I love that feature, too...I used to use a comb to get the fur out, and it bent up the wires on the brush.

Quasi-Thank you for stopping by, especially since you are a busy kitty with your book and all! I will definately check that out!

Meemsnyc-Thank you! I have been trying to convince this human to buy one, but she feeds us expensive food and says she's broke. (I think she's buying herSELF toys, but I can't prove it yet.)

Karen-Yea, my vaccum really gets a workout these days!

Catherder-Wow, Athenos sure looks like a slimmer version of Bentley! LOVE that name, too! Thank you for the kudos on my blog...I like yours too, and I see some nice bleeding hearts are blooming too. Hope mine do soon!

Bentley, my friend, Your suspicions are correct! She IS buying herself new toys and there are pictures to prove it! You should get Giz to show you how to work the picture program...
I think we need an intervention, don't you? :)

Now that was a fur er fun post Lisa! We, the Bliss team, have a Furminator too but ours doesn't come with the nifty eject button. Now our Mum wants one too. Does it shoot the furs a long way away? Just asking because then we could shoot furballs at each other instead of erm, well you know ....puking them on the carpet.

Purrrrrrrrrs from the Bliss team for Bentley and Gizmo!

Heh...well, if the brush is full it ejects the pad but you have to pull it off. If it's not too full, it falls to the ground. (It would be more fun if you could shoot them! :) Purrrs back at the Bliss team from Gizmo and Bentley!
