What a difference a week makes! Here's the water gardens again this past weekend....I added the plants that were in the house, as well as a 'yellow flag' from the yard (they're supposed to be marginals, so we'll see). The water cleared up, and things are greening up.
And here's the big water lily, with the individually planted duck potato and cardinal flowers. I had to add a bit more barley extract to clear the water on this side, but it's looking nice, now.
The lily was challenging to keep down, though...it floated like a life raft! I finally had to put this bag of polished rocks across it to make it stay put! Now to wait for some flowers....
