Another order has arrived....this one from my friends at Plant Delights, and as usual, they sent me nice stuff! This hosta, 'Stitch in Time', was my "tennis bracelet" purchase, my reward to myself (for what, I don't know)...it's a newer cultivar and more expensive ($50). The other plants were more reasonable... ...geranium 'Anne Thomson' with yellow foliage (not so much yet, but it will be)....

....meehania montis-koyae, 'Honshu Wood Mint'. It's listed as "zone 6-7 guessing", but really cute and said to like cool weather (I have that), and from Japan (they get snow too), so I'm giving it a try. The other plant I got from them was lespedeza thunbergii 'Spilt Milk' variegated bush clover. Sorry no pic-it's really nice-sized, too! I wind up ordering from these folks pretty much every year, they've got such unusual stuff, and always send nice specimens! Next year, I want to make a bog garden and order lots of cobra lillies.....it's a sickness! (For which I want no cure, BTW!)

I have to stay away from the Plant Delights catalog... but those do look like nice healthy plants for sure. (I am always amused when they put in caveats like "at least" and "guessing" in their zone listings!)

That hosta is beautiful...

I will have to check them out. The plants look great. Love that hosta and especially love the name it reminds me of my mother who is a quilter. Thanks for sharing!!

Kim-they are dangerous to me, too! I've pretty much resigned myself to buying something from them every year, the trick is to keep the total reasonable! That hosta was a "must-have" for me though....my mom, sister and I kinda have a competetive hosta collecting thing going, so I HAD to represent, y'know? ;)

KC-Wow, it's like they named that hosta for your mom! I must say, Plant Delights has never disappointed me yet.
