Fall Is Falling!

Leaves are turning... ...peppers are ripening...
...and veggies are the stars in my kitchen!

Lately I'm busy playing "beat the frost", be back soon....

In some ways I think the fall pack up clean up season is busier than spring planting. And now... back to work! :)

Nom nom nom! My second sowing of the fingerling carrots is getting near ready! :)

Troutbirder-I agree!

Monica-You know, those 'Little Finger' carrots are the best I've grown so far! This year I tried 'Minicor' (took waay too long to reach a worthwhile size), and 'Parmex' round carrots (tough, get green shoulders easily, blah taste). I'm sticking with the best next year, forget the rest!

Yes they are, and yes they were! (Because I'm living in my own "Private Idaho, underground like a wild potato...don't go on the patio!" ;-)
