Fall is back! Ack!
Ok, I knew it was coming...but now? Our lows are suddenly in the 40's at night, and highs only in the 60's all day. They keep saying that it will warm up, but it simply hasn't. I still have peppers to harvest, perennials to divide, houseplants to take in, tomatoes to see ripen...what will I do?

Isn't it strange how the weather seems to change so fast? What ever happened to gradual temp changes?
RIGHT?! Last week when this started, the weathermen acted like it was a temporary fluke. Now they keep talking about "football season"...bogus!
I'm with you....our summer was waaaay too short this year!
Heh, I feel like the last drunk at the party...standing around at dawn with an empty bottle of champagne yelling "That's IT?!" My veggies just seemed to hit their stride and now chilly temps are shutting them down. (Maybe it's too similar to the loss of my youth? ;-)
Well, come on down and share some of our blasted heat. I think we might have melted half the members of the GWA this weekend.
I guess this is what they call climate change? Luckily, we are helping to prevent it with our gardening.

I'll send some warmth your way if you promise not to keep it all. We're in the 80s this week.
I'll take it! Our weather may work out too though, back to 60's and
70's during the day and 50's at night...hope it holds up.
