Hi Lisa, I LOLed to see you've been posting just as "frequently" as me, and for the same reason!! You already harvest some Babies lettuce? I wish I'd planted mine earlier!! Still love the BBQ container. If I didn't use mine for bonfires, I'd plant in it too! :)
Yea, I wish my connection were faster and my life were less complicated right now. It's good to be gardening though! I decided to harvest the lettuce as "cut and come again" rather than waiting for heads to form, although I may handle it differently in the other container. My grill planter is very successful again this year, but next season I hope to try growing the greens there on rockwool to keep them cleaner (just not sure if that's possible or practical, but I'm the experimenting type ;-)
Thanks for your personal marvelous posting! I seriously enjoyed reading it, you could be a great author.I will always bookmark your blog and will often come back in the future. I want to encourage you to continue your great work, have a nice holiday weekend!
Thank you! Have a great weekend yourself :)
I'm horribly late for commenting on July's SeedGROW posts, but since tomorrow is the 2nd, I'd figured it would be a good reminder that Augusts posts are coming up. Can't wait for the latest installment of your SeedGROW saga. I love the use of the grill cover to protect the plants!
:0)
I can understand late...I'm hoping to be on time for tomorrow's post. So far the project seeds have been stellar performers! :)
