Today is the second annual
Save the Frogs Day! Founded by Dr. Kerry Kriger, this fine organization is blazing the trail for amphibian conservation worldwide.
They have been working very hard, and gaining recognition for this worthwhile cause. Check out the article on the
National Wildlife Federation website about the "America's Top 10 Most Threatened Frogs".
Today there are many activities worldwide for Save the Frogs Day, but we still need to do what we can to spread the word...

I hoping to have some take up residence in my little pond in front of the porch. Time will tell!
This reminds me it's time for another frog run in the frog and toad survey!
Troutbirder-I bet they will, as long as you don't use any bad chemicals in it. A friend of mine was actually using toilet bowl cleaner in hers to keep it blue! Yikes! (Fortunatly I convinced her to quit!)
Monica-I always thought that sounded fun, I may have to join in next year.
I keep hearing them - big time!
