I'm afraid that my first scheduled post for the GROW project is rather un-newsworthy... ...my wintersown seeds are still sleeping. But I will be starting seeds indoors under lights soon, and the outdoor temps are forecast to remain unseasonably warm also. Therefore I anticipate some germination action soon!

I should've guessed you were having one of those weirdo Springs too. We were in the 80s earlier in the week and I was almost tempted to go out and start sowing seeds.
I was tempted to sow some of the nasturtiums outside, but I'm sticking to our "June moon" rule up here no matter what! The plants all seem to know this warm weather ain't right also: bulbs are coming up like normal, and perennials are mostly sleeping (like normal). Plants ARE smart! :)
I sowed some peas and stuff outside, I just couldn't resist with the wonderful temps. I didn't want to do anything that wasn't cold tolerant though. I do have some zinnias and tomatoes among other things inside. A couple are trying to poke their heads up so I'll have to turn on the lights soon I think.
I want to start my seeds under lights indoors this week. You are so brave to sow outdoors now, I sure hope it works out!
Good luck this year with all those seeds :)
Thank you! So far, so good :)
