Island rambles-Thank you! They have been house-mates since they were young kittens, though Gizmo (the black one) was in the home first, and asserts his dominance once in awhile. Mostly they get along, and cause trouble as a team. :) I've never been a napper, but when I see them sleep it looks like a great idea!
Aunt debbi-Nice when they get along. I think most cats "forced" to live together over a long period come to appreciate each other, but not always I guess.
Gintoino-That's a shame...I guess I just presumed that cats who live together become close eventually. I suppose it depends on how many options they have for other socialization or outdoor escapades. These two have been indoors together since they can remember, and when my son's ex-girlfriend got a puppy, It made them absolute allies.
Our cats get along fine but they have very strict lines of territory. No sleeping in the same room, no mutual grooming but they will meet in a common area (like the kitchen) to play occasionally when the puppy is crated.
Your white cat looks like my cat Ichiro, but yours is a bit bigger though. lol. I suppose mine would be bigger too but he cries and cries until I let him out and he practically stays outside and plays most of the time, I don't see why I should keep him in, it's mostly nice outside here all the time.
Ichi pee'd on my leg last night for the first time and I don't know what to make of it...lol.

Our girls act just like that.
LOL.
I wish my cats were good friends like yours. Here they just tolerate each other..no friendship.

Oh, I should mention they were originally my son'd cats, but he cannot have cats in his current apt., so they came to live with me.
I'm jealous too.

Tam-Huh...I really thought cats who lived together were close no matter what. Shows what I know. :)
Garrett-Peed on your leg? Heh...I'd say either a show of affection, marking you as "his", or he's REALLY angry! ;-)
Kim-RIGHT? Cats who like each other really show it.
Wireless-Thank you!
It's good to have two cats so they can do this for each other.
I think so, too...especially house cats. I think one would be too lonesome and bored without a companion of some sort.
