Too soon for November Bloom Day...but this cute "Christmas cactus" that my son's girlfriend gave me is blooming away right now.
It may be hard to discern from these images, but this is a delightful tangerine color I did not have...cool!!
I just love the form of these flowers...like cool, geometric kites you might see on the beach. Heh....much as I like the "frozen tundra" that is Wisconsin, I really enjoy the beach and ocean as well....I guess you could call me a "climate slut"..hahahahahha....sorry...!

I saw some at Sam's Club blooming that were a hot pink. The tangerine is an unusual color for these.

Beautiful. Enjoy your tangerine beauty. I love the beach. I live a few hours away from them beach but it feels like I'm in the middle of nowhere.

Hey, I've got that color and I guess ours are on the same schedule too, since mines been blooming for about a week. I also have an orchid that's blooming so it's a colorful time with the houseplants.

Carol-Yea, I'd never seen tangerine before, either.

Chuck-I love them too, and luckily they seem to like me!

Vonne-Cool! My other two are budding as well.

Gisela-I didn't realize you had an operation...I hope you are recovering well! And thank you for the mushroom ID!

Vanillalotus-Must be fun to live close to a beach...do you go often?

Gardener of LaMancha-Funny how these plants decide it's time to bloom...I have two more just getting started.

Snappy-Thank you! I'm about 25 miles from Lake Michigan, which is no ocean but large enough. However, I'm blessed to live on a large, deep river which is awesome in its' own right!
