Now that's what I'm talkin' about! Fluffy, insulating snow, just in time to protect my "sleeping beauties" from sub-zero lows tonight. Heck, I may even get to go ice fishing Saturday...hooray for winter!

I have been wanting it to snow ever since we moved here, just to examine critter pawprints and try to track them! But so far no luck.

Hi Lisa,
Thanks for all of your Comments on my blog today -- I was touched by your openness and appreciative of your candor.
Great blog you have here! Not so sure I can identify with the cold though -- I live in St. Pete Beach, Florida and we've highs in the high seventies lately.
I recall going on a three-day interview for a research professor position years ago (in January) at what then was called "Stout State". I loved the people and the community, but when I asked my buddy when we could play "Summer Rules" at the Country Club, he said, "Every summer on July 10th from 2:00-3:30."
Thanks for the invite -- I'll be back!
Bill

Calif. Gardener:Hey-welcome back! I hadn't visited your blog in awhile...thanks for stopping in!

Rurality: snow in Alabama? Does that happen often? I'll be surprised if you don't get snow from the storm that's crossing the country right now...

Kim: yay is right!

Dr. Bill: thanks for stopping by, too! I really enjoy following links and finding new blogs...like an adventure without going anywhere!
