Okay, last junk post-I realize that I have WAY more than I ever thought...there's a reasonable explanation for the plastic snake, though. I saw an article in Organic Gardening that claimed the plastic snakes can help keep rabbits out of your flowers (and some other animals). It did seem to help a lot at first, but now I think the varmints are used to them all (I have several). The wire mosquito is unfortunately close to life-size up here!

Dried fox urine. no really... I swear by the stuff. Rabbits were eating away at my saplings, killing them, bought some dried fox urine, sprinkled it around the trees. poof! no more mister bunny rabbit.

Cool, thanks...gotta try it! Where do you get it? How often do you re-apply?

I reapply when ever I see chew marks on a tree. I will have to look to see how often they say it should be done.
